What do we offer?

About DataWeave, we are seeking to hire a Content marketing manager who will own and drive all areas of lead and demand generation with the goal of generating high quality marketing qualified leads for the sales teams to engage with on a consistent basis.

The selected candidate will have to be well versed with all lead generation channels, including email, SEO, PPC, social media, etc. The candidate will also be expected to evaluate and onboard emerging channels of communicating with prospects with a view to meet and scale aggressive lead generation targets.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop & execute sales plans to achieve revenue and growth goals for your territory

  • Establish the right sales processes &foundations for sustained revenue growth
  • Identify and develop partnerships that could help grow revenue/ market share
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with other teams within DataWeave esp. the Customer Success & Fulfillment team and the Marketing team
  • Contribute to the overall knowledge & thought the leadership of the company around products, market opportunities, customer trends, competition activities, etc.
  • This position currently reports directly to the VP of Sales, North America of the company. It will change in the future as the org structure evolves. Preferred locations Central/WesternUS
  • Understand the DataWeave solution offerings deeply and map them to the right market segments (Home/Furniture/Electronics)& customer profiles in the region
  • Develop a plan & execute it to build a robust sales pipeline thru lead generation activities. Engage marketing the team will run campaigns in your region to generate leads
  • Focus on securing new customers
  • Execute every month, a plan for meeting & exceeding revenue targets and design wins
  • Provide accurate forecasting, assessing competition, consistent sales tools usage, etc.
  • Collaborate with other teams especially customer Success, delivery, and product group to meet & exceed customer expectations
  • Be the conduit for market &competitive feedback & suggestions for product improvements within the given industry
  • Represent the company in the industry events, trade shows, and other such platforms as and when needed

Skills & Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience with at At least 5 years in an enterprise sales/ quota-carrying role in a tech company.
  • Successful track record exceeding revenue and market share goals consistently
  • Good background in at least one area– selling Big Data & Analytics solutions or selling tech solutions into this home industry. A combination of both will be a big plus
  • Strong exposure to EnterpriseSaaS model
  • The candidate should be willing to travel within a region for developing & closing business. The candidate should be open to travel to India/ Asia for internal meetings
  • Previous experience selling in a tech startup
  • Previous experience working for a company providing a similar set of solutions
  • Some technical background is a plus esp. around Analytics
