Understand the DataWeave solution offerings deeply and map them to the right market segments & customer profiles in the region. Develop a plan & execute to build a robust sales pipeline thru lead generation activities like drip campaigns, direct contacts, events, etc. Execute every month for meeting & exceeding revenue targets and design wins. Set up processes for accurate forecasting, assessing competition, consistent sales tools usage, etc. Work with other teams especially Customer Success, delivery, and product group to meet & exceed customer expectations. Be the conduit for market & competitive feedback & suggestions for product improvements. Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and other such platforms as and when needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Sales Manager – UK, Germany will be responsible for setting and achieving the overall revenue, growth and market share goals for UK & Germany Region. As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Location : Greater London/ London

  • Develop & execute sales plans to achieve revenue and growth goals for your territory
  • Establish the right sales processes & foundations for sustained revenue growth
  • Identify and develop partnerships that could help grow revenue/ market share
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with other teams within DataWeave esp. the Customer Success & Fulfillment team and the Marketing team
  • Contribute to the overall knowledge & thought leadership of the company around products, market opportunities, customer trends, competition activities, etc.
  • This is an individual contributor role. In future it may have people management responsibilities. This position currently reports directly to the VP Sales - APAC & EMEA

Role Responsibilities

  • Understand the DataWeave solution offerings deeply and map them to the right market segments & customer profiles in the region
  • Develop a plan & execute to build a robust sales pipeline thru lead generation activities like drip campaigns, direct contacts, events etc. Marketing team will run campaigns in your region to generate leads but that should not be depended upon to meet targets
  • Your only focus should be to secure new customers. Existing customers will be handled by a different team
  • Execute every month for meeting & exceeding revenue targets and design wins
  • Set up processes for accurate forecasting, assessing competition, consistent sales tools usage etc.
  • Work with other teams especially Customer Success, delivery, and product group to meet & exceed customer expectations
  • Be the conduit for market & competitive feedback & suggestions for product improvements
  • Represent the company in industry events, trade shows and other such platforms as and when needed

Skills & Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience with at least 5 years in an enterprise sales/ quota carrying role in a Tech company
  • Successful track record exceeding revenue and market share goals consistently
  • Good background in at least one area – selling Big Data & Analytics solutions or selling tech solutions into Retail/ CPG industry. Combination of both will be a big plus
  • Solution selling experience in a software products company. Exposure to SaaS model a must
  • Candidate should be willing to travel within UK & rest of Europe for developing & closing business. Candidate should be open to travel to India/ Asia for internal meetings

Additional Credentials

  • Previous experience selling in a tech startup
  • Previous experience working for a company providing a similar set of solutions
  • Some technical background is a plus esp. around Big Data & Analytics
