Sales @DataWeave

  • Understand the DataWeave solution offerings deeply and map them to the right market segments & customer profiles in the region
  • Develop a plan & execute to build a robust sales pipeline thru lead generation activities like drip campaigns, direct contacts, events, etc
  • Execute every month for meeting & exceeding revenue targets and design wins
  • Set up processes for accurate forecasting, assessing competition, consistent sales tools usage, etc.
  • Work with other teams especially Customer Success, delivery, and product group to meet & exceed customer expectations
  • Be the conduit for market & competitive feedback & suggestions for product improvements
  • Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and other such platforms as and when needed

Roles & Responsibilities

  • A strong pipeline is a key to successful sales and the BDR is a critical contributor to
  • the pipeline growth
  • Outbound Prospect via various channels including phone, email, social, and video.
  • Prospect for the right prospects within the North America region
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads
  • Create qualified opportunities alongside our sales team
  • Campaign and event follow-up
  • Prospect at C-level, VP, and Director levels
  • Effectively articulate the value of our solution to both technical and non-technical buyers

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment – Strongly
  • Preferred
  • Experience in working in eCommerce and/or Data Analytics – Strongly Preferred
  • A demonstrable track record of exceeding targets – Strongly Preferred
  • University degree + 2-5 years relevant experience – Strongly Preferred
  • Passionate and driven to excel in a startup environment– Required
  • A fast learner who is always looking to improve and grow – Required
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - Required
  • Confident, outgoing personality who can drive pipeline activity over the phone - Required
  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a team - Required
  • Outbound calling experience in a corporate environment – Preferred
  • Microsoft Office and Hubspot CRM experience - Preferred
  • Software sales experience desirable
